I say bring on the vaccination passports, with exemptions for the medically unable of course. I couldn't care less about the "whatabout my rights" group. It's because of them we're in the mess (rising Covid rates/overworked healthcare workers) we're in now.
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one or the few.

Vanguard will pay vaccinated workers $1,000

https://www.cnn.com/2021/08/04/busin...ard/index.html

Quote:
The move comes as several major companies have stepped up their efforts to boost vaccination rates.

Microsoft (MSFT), Facebook (FB) and Google (GOOGL) have all announced in recent days vaccine requirements for employees returning to campuses and offices. And Tyson Foods (TSN), one of the world's largest food companies, said Tuesday that all office and plant workers must get vaccinated.

Vanguard, which manages more than $7 trillion globally, also joins a slew of other companies that have offered incentives to get a jab — albeit more modest ones.
IIRC Vanguard is located in PA, which is full of Trumpkins. Nice incentive, but it's sad that it's even needed. So many idiots out there...

How a decade of coronavirus research paved way for COVID-19 vaccines

A good read for the anti-vax morons (who of course won't or can't read it).

Wait! You mean that the former orange pustule didn't dream up the mRNA process all by himself while excreting KFC and Quarter Pounders? I'm shocked...

McGinnis, who did not mention that Apley died of coronavirus, remembered his colleague as “an advocate for liberty, limited government and the highest ideal of American Exceptionalism.
None of which Covid gave a damn about.

Apley is one of a growing number of highly publicized cases of people getting seriously ill or dying after railing against masks, bashing vaccines, playing down the gravity of the pandemic or merely being vaccine-hesitant.

Last month, a conservative talk show host in Tennessee went to the emergency room after a coronavirus infection gave him pneumonia, The Post reported. Before getting sick, Phil Valentine had decided not to get vaccinated and used his radio show to frequently make fun of efforts to get more people inoculated.
It must suck to be in the 0.02 percent.
Quote:
A doctor in Alabama, which has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the country, last month wrote a detailed Facebook post about how a lot of “young healthy people” were being admitted to the hospital “with very serious” covid infections.

“One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine,” Brytney Cobia wrote. “I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”

Republicans rely on their constituent's inbreeding proficiency. Take a look at our central valley where vaccination rates are around the 30% mark in several towns yet restaurants are fully open with no mask requirement for the employees. Will be in S Lake Tahoe this weekend after a long time and wondering about the situation there and this is trump country.

I am finding the "my body, my choice" stance from this crowd quite hypocritical.
