Back To Normality After The Corona Plague?

As of midnight California is open for business. Yay? Only 56% of eligible Californians have been vaccinated. Color me skeptical.

We have some northern counties full of peckerwood secessionists, Trumpists and other malcontents who refuse the jab. Maybe the governor should offer them giant lollypops?

Pretty much back to normal around these parts. Has been for sometime now.

We still wear our masks when out in public. To many of the ol crybaby cult sponges out and about unvaccinated, maskless. Complaining as a mater of course of their unfair lot in life being mistreated.

For that reason and with the fear of another round to come. Along with the fact we both have not been sick in over a year and a half now. No colds or flu only sinus now and then.

We have noticed a lot of business did not make it. The ones still going now are in desperate need of people to work.

We just took a trip this past weekend down to Charlottesville, VA for some hiking and wine drinking. The vineyards and restaurants were fully open with good crowds. Masks were required indoors at Monticello though and the tour was self-guided. Traffic congestion was in full COVID recovery unfortunately.

bobabode, I'm skeptical too. I hope that the reopening doesn't make people think there isn't a need to get vaccinated any more.

I went shopping yesterday and people were still wearing masks. Some stores still require it.
