A Baltimore Police officer who sought the Republican nomination for mayor was indicted last week by the Office of the State Prosecutor for lying about being a city resident.

Seeking the the Republican nomination for mayor of Baltimore. Either he's just raising funds like Repubs do to funnel $$ into their pockets or the guy needs to be held for a psych evaluation. The South shall rise again before a Repub mayor of Baltimore.

And the Baltimore GOP gal, Kim Klacik, who ran for Kweisi Mfume's seat did some real shady shit with all the campaign funds she got from appearing frequently on wingnut TV. In other words, her candidacy for an unwinnable seat was all a grift.

NYT is confirming this story and the investigation was started by the previous administration's Justice Department.
