The plan for not attending the Oath of Office ceremony (one of them anyway) was so that the Orange Menace could leave DC still as president*. That and one last free (to him) joyride for he and his family of grifters aboard Air Force One.
I still say he'll skip the country.

I will on this happy day suggest this thread be retired, on the grounds that whoever Trump disgraces in the future, it won't be America. Maybe someone will want to start a new Trump-watching thread....
