Even as Romney demanded honesty, Faux "News" and DiaperDon allies were spreading new disinformation

https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...isinformation/

Quote:
Romney accused Trump of inciting the day’s “insurrection” with complete justification. But even as he did so, the forces loyal to Trump were gearing up for another round of fantasized rationalization.

Over at Fox, a series of interviews, hour after hour, included a remarkable allegation: Maybe the day’s violence was actually a function of antifa, Trump’s favorite left-wing boogeyman. Matthew Gertz, a fellow at Media Matters, documented the slow capillary spread of the theory. It popped up on Lou Dobbs’s show on Fox Business, then was raised by former Alaska governor Sarah Palin on Fox News proper. A Tucker Carlson guest offered it up, as did Trump’s most loyal attack dog, Sean Hannity. All of that happened before Romney spoke, but the theory continued to trickle out on Laura Ingraham’s show, repeatedly, in the following hour.
...and the sad little Trumpkins continue to believe and regurgitate every lie...

Denial and conspiracies: how Reich-wing media reacted to DiaperDon's mob
Some outlets refused to acknowledge the president* or the rioters did anything wrong, while others depicted it as an opportunity for Pence to overturn the election

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...mp-mob-capitol

Sigh. Somehow, these disgusting, lying, filthy outlets MUST be shut down.

Steve Bannon’s ‘War Room’ Channel Pulled From YouTube

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...015616583.html

Why TF was Google allowing this criminal a propaganda outlet in the first place!?

Note that the big cable companies enable Faux "News", OANN and the rest of the Reich-wing propaganda outlets. They can also shut them down (yes, YOU, AT&T! Yes, YOU, Comcast!). Profits for propaganda. Disgraceful.

To little to late for me!

Let us hope this will be a wakeup call and the beginning of a culling of the hate speech and conspiracies having a free ride.

Q needs to be removed..................

Cumulus Orders Radio Hosts — Which Include Dan Bongino and Mark Levin — to Stop Pushing Election Conspiracies

https://www.mediaite.com/radio/cumul...-conspiracies/

Quote:
Cumulus Media, the radio broadcasting company that airs conservative talk radio hosts like Mark Levin, Dan Bongino and Ben Shapiro, is reportedly telling hosts they will be fired if they continue to spread baseless claims about the 2020 presidential election.

Cumulus company boasts a number of right-wing radio hosts in its stable, including Levin and Bongino, who have amplified Trump’s evidence-free claims that the election was stolen from him through mass fraud. Those false claims were what incited an insurrectionist mob to storm the U.S. Capitol last week.

Washington Post reports that in the aftermath of the chaos, Cumulus Executive Vice President Brian Philips sent out a memo ordering the company’s on-air personalities to drop all claims the election was stolen. Failure to comply, Philips said, will result in termination.
Too little, too late, Cumulus. People have died because of your propagandists. Fire them NOW!!!!

Statement - American "Thinker"

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog...statement.html

Quote:
We received a lengthy letter from Dominion's defamation lawyers explaining why they believe that their client has been the victim of defamatory statements. Having considered the full import of the letter, we have agreed to their request that we publish the following statement:

American Thinker and contributors Andrea Widburg, R.D. Wedge, Brian Tomlinson, and Peggy Ryan have published pieces on www.AmericanThinker.com that falsely accuse US Dominion Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (collectively “Dominion”) of conspiring to steal the November 2020 election from Donald Trump. These pieces rely on discredited sources who have peddled debunked theories about Dominion’s supposed ties to Venezuela, fraud on Dominion’s machines that resulted in massive vote switching or weighted votes, and other claims falsely stating that there is credible evidence that Dominion acted fraudulently.

These statements are completely false and have no basis in fact. Industry experts and public officials alike have confirmed that Dominion conducted itself appropriately and that there is simply no evidence to support these claims.

It was wrong for us to publish these false statements. We apologize to Dominion for all of the harm this caused them and their employees. We also apologize to our readers for abandoning 9 journalistic principles and misrepresenting Dominion’s track record and its limited role in tabulating votes for the November 2020 election. We regret this grave error.
The only thing you fascists regret is being forced, for once, to tell the truth about something.
