Trump will see the fanfare the Harris pick brings — she’s an energetic and experienced lawmaker, a former prosecutor and attorney general, and the first woman of color on a major party ticket — and then he’ll look over at Pence and see a man as electrifying as a dollop of mayonnaise.

For a president who spends most of his time watching TV or tweeting about things he saw on TV, the telegenic Harris will be too much to bear.

The bottom line is that Democratic excitement over Biden’s choice of Harris has to be met with something splashy. And you couldn’t make Pence splashy if you threw him off a Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht.

After getting four or five in a row I called him to tell him to stop. We have to get up early and needed to sleep. Normally he will be sensible and laugh then stop.
Not last night he went into a rant. Yelling and screaming hateful hurtful ugly comments. Soon realizing I never knew him or overlooked because of my sister. She is gone now and it looks like he is too for me going on from here.
Yes hung up and turned the phone off.
He might apologize today, hope so but the comments will still be there. Showing me a true picture of his soul.

This was just day one......

In other words, he had spent a few hours watching FOX. That is their whole intent. Find a way to get people “outraged”. It’s clearly working.

I just have a bad feeling about Kamala Harris. She has just seemed like a poser to me— says things because she thinks they sound right politically rather than from any deep convictions. And she really hasn’t been tested on the national stage. All of her elected positions to this point have basically been gimmees because she came from California where her election when running against a Republican was practically guaranteed. I hope that Joe has not made a mistake. We’ll see, I suppose.
