Ah, Zippy, you're far too clever for me.

A quote from the article you posted.
"DeWine's diagnosis is particularly notable as he has taken aggressive measures to slow the spread of coronavirus in his state, including issuing a stay-at-home order, a mask mandate, closing schools and postponing the state primary. His warnings about the seriousness of the pandemic early on and following the advice of health experts have differed from Trump's repeated downplaying of the virus and propensity to contradict the doctors on his coronavirus task force. DeWine has also taken a slower approach than other Republican governors in reopening his state.
The Ohio Democratic Party said it is saddened to hear about DeWine's positive coronavirus test result and offered support for the governor.
"We know how hard he's been working to keep Ohioans safe, and this is just one more reminder that this virus can impact everyone," the party's chairman David Pepper said in a statement. "As fellow Ohioans, we stand with and support our governor and his family at this time." "
Sounds to me like he's been more cautious about the virus. Guess that doesn't matter since he's a republican.
Hypocrisy at it's best.

An armed person, someone that shouldn't have access. NRA policy pretty much guarantees easy access to firearms to anyone thru opposition of reasonable restrictions and proliferation of the means.

I actually respect this guy for his responsible responses to protect his constituents, so, not my sentiments in this case. For the deceased Covid sceptics who sow doubt and confusion, "Thoughts and prayers".

Who are the people who shouldn't have access? What do you consider reasonable restrictions?

I have always said it is up to the states to make the decisions. More importantly to me, certain businesses can enforce the rules as they please. I can choose to shop at a store or not.
DeWine handled it how he thought it should have been handled. Does not bother me.
This comes down to federal covid rules. I don't think that the president should control the states. He's left it up to states. Sure he definitely has his opinions but has he forced any rules on states?
