A Line-by-Line Analysis of the Hilarious ‘Case for Trump’

https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020...eelection.html

Quote:
Hewitt has written a case (he calls it “the case”) for Trump’s reelection. If it were possible to fashion a coherent, fact-based argument for Trump’s reelection, Hewitt — by dint of his unique role — would probably be its author. Instead he has written a column that persuasively negates the very possibility that a coherent pro-Trump argument can or could be made.

Andrew Weinstein
@Weinsteinlaw

Seems like a good time for a reminder that when @JoeBiden first ran for office in 1972 he pledged not to own a single share of stock so long as he held public office. He kept that promise for his entire political career. Honesty and ethics matter.

Except, of course, they don't matter at all to Trumpkins when it comes to their Dear Leader, who has no honesty or ethics whatsoever.

...assuming Repubes and their Russian allies can't enable their massive voter fraud plans...

Problem is, if they are going to attack the problem at the source, they will march on their governor's mansions, not Washington. Politics is local. Trump didn't shut anything down. That's on their governor. Whine to him.

Bill Clinton had his sax, Joe Biden has his Vette. I'm a Ford guy and I'll still vote for Joe.

Expect the hate tweets and attacks from Donny before nightfall. The GOP character assassination machine will kick in by morning.
