Same as any Mexican or Guatemalan or what have you. I've watched mi hermanos/as take over the building trades here in SoCal in the last 40 years and you know what? They earned it. They will outwork your's and my lily white asses hands down. Day after day, week after week because they want the American Dream. Just like any other immigrant.

Thing is, you don't get to pull the ladder up after yourselves. This country is great because of immigrants not in spite of them.

Some people will want to drop their old language like a bad habit, some won't. Up to them. It's a free country, as the saying goes.

I never said anything about their work ethic. Yes lots of immigrants work their but off, definitely agree with that.

Just saw O'Biden's latest campaign ad whilst watching my favorite former Republican, Nicolle Wallace on the Boob Tube and I had a teary eyed moment.

This country with all it's warts and foibles is simply crying out for just a little normalcy during the time of Covid and that's what Joe Biden is selling.

Let's give him a congressional majority so that we can re-build our infrastructure and strengthen our democracy by passing a new VRA for the 21st century.
