Attacking someone for differing beliefs is fundamentally wrong. Having a discussion to understand why people believe what they do is much more productive. That requires engagement, not derision.

From what I've seen in my little exposure to this forum, the rightists (see what I did there?) are trying to engage in a civilized discussion but are being met with "invective" responses from the leftists (my post is officially fair and balanced ). Could we try changing that? More discussion of positions/reasoning and less about taking everything as a personal insult?

Ok thanks for the excellent explination (meaning I'm dumb and your smart). Got it you don't want to teach people how you got to your point of view. Instead just say it's cause I'm smart and your dumb. Really ads to the helpful part of the conversation.

I will admit when i started posting on this site I was coming off myself as agressive. I have tried to change my tune in the last couple weeks. Now more trying to ask how someone else has come to their conclusion but seems like I'm just constantly called stupid dumb or ignorant. Not All people on this site act that way though.

Good lord, you sound just like Trump, constantly whining about how "unfairly" he's treated. Never said you're "dumb", you're simply grossly uneducated, as your horrific grammar and spelling in the quote clearly indicate - a fifth grader shouldn't make so many errors.

Folks with a good education are able to discern good journalism from propaganda as a result of that good education, and by reading widely, including the great works of literature, which explore and expose the frailties and vices of men like Trump. My experience differs from yours.

What I see is right wingers posting opinions and/or links to right wing websites that are stating opinions and challenges those who dispute those opinions to provide proof.
