The anti maskers..............
The mask situation isn't the only thing that is being used by politicians. The only reason I mentioned masks in my previous post is I THINK it shows a major flaw in how were all supposed to wear masks all the time but there is no qualification to the mask you need to wear. Meanwhile Menards has required masks to enter the building but you can keep the mask below your nose. If this truly was SO SERIOUS don't you think we would all be forced to wear an appropriate mask that truly is the most affective mask possible? But hey what do I know. The dems use the mask situation against trump, that is a fact.

Our local school has said the next school term all students will have to wear a mask. Now I don't know for sure yet but I'll bet there will be no stipulations to the type of mask used. Therefore the student will be allowed to wear some thin cloth that doesn't do much to begin with. Does that really seem logical?

If you're arguing for more stringent mask regulations I'm good with that.

When I see places or states requiring proper masks not just some thin cloth, and when groups of protester are sent away since their not all wearing masks then maybe I'll think different.

As far as being a damn fool am I a fool cause I don't believe the numbers or am I a fool cause I think that politicians are using covid to their advantage already? Oh wait I get it I'm a fool cause I'll vote for trump. Thanks I get it.
Now you're just being pigheaded. Grow the hell up.

Waggs, you do understand the purpose of wearing masks is to cut down on transmission of the virus from someone infected to those not infected don't you? I agree with the mask being worn with the nose out is utter stupidity. I spent some time hospitalized a few years back and visitors had to wear masks when visiting. Some tried the nose-out position and I schooled them real quick. Maybe if we had some real leadership in the WH the production of proper masks (and PPE) could have been started way back in January. Just think if tRump had been thinking of something other than himself where we would be now.

Didn't trump push the manufacturing of the N95 mask? That is a consumer mask that is more properly built for filtering a virus. As far as I know.

He could have instituted the Defense Production Act, mandated mask production and had millions of masks available for everyone. Then manned up and called for masks to be worn universally. Like they've done in other countries that are not seeing massive numbers in infections at this point.

He's leaving that mandate up to the states. The way it should be.

I said mandated mask production not mask wearing. Maybe mandated was the wrong word. He left mask production to the free market which left companies to their own devices (making a profit) instead of being directed by the Fed. Maybe if the Orange Shitstain had listened to the experts and recommended mask wearing (six months ago) we wouldn't have these loonies having fits and starting fights when they're being told to wear masks.
