Don't get me wrong. I was raised a catholic and had a lot of dealings with the church when I was a kid. A good portion, by no means a majority though, of the priests and bishops I've met and talked to have been really genuine and caring people, not to mention very well educated. (the others were all bitter, idiot, stubborn, power-hungry wind-bags)

Thing is, the good guys would be that even if they weren't part of any church. I'd go further to say that their faith has limited them in that they can't have families to pass on their excellent genes to or be good fathers to potentially awesome kids. Also, they are limited in ideas they can have or things they can do. They are unable to partake in the full pantheon of human expression or intellectualism because of what some dudes wrote few hundred years ago. So, in my mind, that makes the guys I'm talking about idiots too.

Too wide a brush? Well, I don't know what a spade is, but I call a shovel a 'shovel'.

Hey Blue, Having that distinguished-looking gentleman in your avatar gets me mixed up between you and Merrylander. But then, I'm easily confused.

+1!

So, what about "Battlestar"? Are we all Cylon/human hybrids who owe our monotheistic bent to our robot half?
