Sounds like Japan has limited testing to people who are symptomatic. Unlike here in the US where testing has gone up like crazy. Japan isn't testing any random person who wants a test.

Here in the US were not getting proper info from the mainstream media. All we hear about is positive test supposedly found each day. Don't get the info that the death rate has gone way down and don't say how many positive tests are asymptomatic or if they show antibodies (which means they already had it and didn't know).

So maybe Japan has way more cases then we know.

While that's possible, the number of serious cases would have to be fairly low or there would be a noticeable increase in hospital admissions and deaths, and it would be damn near impossible to keep that covered up for long.

I think that few countries could make Japan's model work.
