"a moral litmus test" What a load of Texas barnyard by product. But if you insist on being "civilized", we can always remand our POW's over to some of our 3rd world allies for interrogation.
The mere threat of turning over a POW to his fellow countrymen for interrogation gives most of the them diarrhea of the mouth.
