This is following Dear Leader's wish that they 'act tough.' They broke both rules and laws. It's not a good sign.

It is broader than that. It gives flesh to the republican assertion of "behind closed doors"...a process which is afraid of public scrutiny and subjected to heavy media manipulation.

It's an amplification of such argument.

Importantly also it provides energy for the base and is going to make it harder for repub politicians (especially senators) to act up independently.

The repubs seem to find the right guy for this political play. Gaetz is a free flow speaker, not a bumbler.
