Whell, Sir, in thirty years there will be probably nobody left over anymore in order to answer your infantile question. Not even in good old America, the holy land of SUV's.
Chicks, Oerets, Finnbow, bobabode and friends - the Black Forest in it's current nature is going to die in a couple of years. We are share holders (for about 150 years) of a registered cooperative forest society, called "Murgschifferschaft". We own 354 shares - which is pretty much - on this property.
Last week we got the latest annual management report. The report is a horrible nightmare. By far most of the conifers in our "Murgschifferschaft" Forest are spruces, since they got no taproots they are drying out now.
The years of distribution of dividents on a pleasant level will be most likely over from next year on.
Whell - with my deep respect, you are an intelligent person for sure - so I insistently implore you to stop posting nonsense concerning climate change from now on in this forum. Thank you very much. This very world is full or court jesters - I wish this forum could be without any of them. I invite you, Whell, to visit the Black Forest. Please visit me and our properties. I will show you what Jonathan Franzen persuaded a couple of days ago to say: "The game is over."
Franzen is 59 and I am 57. Everybody who is beyond 40 should be happy about it. I am very sorry if you guys are parents or even grandparents, I am not. Being a parent or a grandparent under such circumstances must be a depressing burden. I did regret for decades that I had not met "Mrs. Right", but for a couple of years I changed my mind.
Kali is doing her job nicely - perhaps one day there will be a new beginning. But that beginning will not be our business anymore, folks.
Christoph
