Damn skippy. We gave him everything he could dream of and more. The chasm between the West and the Muslim world has never been deeper, American politics are in a divisive death match, our economy became a trainwreck......
If you really sit back and think about it objectively, as horrible and terrifying as it was, the 9/11 attacks were a stroke of (evil) genius. For very little cost the assholes behind it just about brought the "Worlds only Superpower" to it's knees. And we STILL haven't caught them.
Zeke is right.

I don't agree with it. I am just afraid that it will cause more problems.

Doesn't it seem a bit ironic that the folks railing against the mosque on the basis of public sensitivities are also the party of Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity and O'Reilly? These blowhards arguing in favor of sensitivity is tantamount to whores arguing in favor of celibacy.
I would like to believe that those who oppose this cultural center would be smart enough to resent the fact that they are being manipulated by the merchants of hate for the benefit of the GOP this November.

No more thought full than; "THEY'RE MUSLIMS AND MUSLIMS HATE US!! SO WE HAVE TO HATE THEM BACK!! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN 9/11?"
Here's a thought.
The anger towards Muslims is fannned and kept front & center every day. But, to my mind the growing threat from North Korea is far worse. Not to downplay the horrors of 9/11, but if in 1,300 years of the Christian West and Islam being at each other throats the worst they could do is 9/11?............But you don't hear anyone screaming about the presence of Koreans, Chinese or Russians living in the U.S., do you? I mean, 3,000 Americans dead is 3,000 too many, but compared to what can happen in a nuclear exchange between a Communist Alliance and the U.S.?
So, why is it that we hear more about this stupid so-called "mosque" than we do about the sabre rattling going on in Asia?

... or abuse children. Ignorance (and hate) have no bounds.
