I think it was the counter-protesters in Charlottesville who had a problem with that statement. It also bears mentioning that there are a fair number of folks around here who, when they don't like the content of a particular post, with reply with a robust STFU.
No one in their right mind would agree with the protesters in Charlottesville on Saturday. But as my dad said from time to time: "I went to war to fight for their right to talk like idiots." As long as they don't act our on their idiocy, then who are they hurting? Let them protest all they want: we need occasional reminders of what what evil looks like. Funny thing is, folks like that tend to go away if they're being ignored.
The spirit of tolerance for folks with differing points of view is something that is lost in this day and age...on both sides of the debate.

Unfortunately, your Dear Leader and three of his closest White House advisors (Bannon, Miller, Gorka) do. Your knee jerk defense of every unprincipled utterance of your Dear Leader puts you in the same camp, whether you like it or not.

The white supremacists went spoiling for a fight. Dressed with shields and goggles helmets mace guns.... The counter protesters fell for the baiting, fought back. Maybe now those who march for the alt right will be a little more afraid. I bet they put the hoods back on next time!
Take our country back BS?? How about give the country back?
Protesting for a statue of a traitor, brave maybe but still one who fought to overthrow and destroy our country. For what? The ability to subjugate, own another. That is the states right they were up in arms over.
Are there statues to the fallen Tories from the Revolution? The Mexican's who died in our expansion? Those I would agree with BTW, for they were fighting for an established country against and aggressor.

Wrong-o, snowflake. Remember how the NSA hacking techniques recently leaked to the internet? Also, the current FBI is full of leaks. There's NO WAY that the crack would have remained secret for long, which is precisely why Apple fought it.

It IS an overreach, and its a good thing that Apple fought the FBI on their request for a crack, and IP addresses should also not be provided. I was simply wondering if the crack was wrong AND "fascist", from Chicks point of view. So far, looks like the crack request was just fine with the Chickster.

Another of whell's tactics, putting words in the mouths of others. Not taking the bait.
