Is he a hysterical lefty?
Took Trump just 54 minutes to stab him in the back.

Racist thinking: I saw a Facebook post from a person who speculated that the terrorist car driver would probably, based on where he was from, DNA test a lot less than 99% white, like she is. Not sure what the point of that is, except as a rationale to disavow his actions....

There's a ton of weird shit out there. I hearken back to the "How America Lost Its Mind" article in the Atlantic.

They seem to be dressed in white polo shirts and khaki pants popularized by their leader.

How about Mike Huckabee, Orrin Hatch, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Cory Gardner speaking out against Trump's equivocation in the face of neo-Nazism? Are they all hysterical lefties?
No, Mike Huckabee, Orrin Hatch, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Cory Gardner are all politicians. They're also Republicans, a party that on many occasions in this forum has been painted quite broadly as the party of rich white men that lacks diversity and has no room for people of color. So, are you now suggesting that these members of the Republican party now have moral standing, just because they challenged Trump to be more specific in his statement? Really? Is that how thin your conviction is on this topic?

As far as the Merck CEO, I don't claim to know his politics. Do you?

Imagine that, white polo shirts and khaki pants in August, in the south.

Weird, huh?

Last time I checked, Trump is also a Republican politician. However, he is a Republican politician unwilling to denounce neo-Nazis (just as you are, BTW).

He sounds like a patriotic American when he says "America's leaders must honor our fundamental values by clearly rejecting expressions of hatred, bigotry and group supremacy, which run counter to the American ideal that all people are created equal."

I suppose you'd label that hysterical liberalism.

John Oliver on Trump:
It simply doesn’t get easier than disavowing Nazis. It’s as much of a presidential gimme as pardoning a fucking turkey. It is almost impossible to screw it up. But that’s exactly what happened.”

I would say that the flags and shields make a stronger statement than shirts and pants.

Take it out of the love/hate dynamic. Focusing so emotionally on something that died in a bunker in 1945 can cause one to miss what is dividing this nation.
