Of course that makes it all the easier to blame Obama.

I guess since Assad and Russia are allies they won't face anything from Trump.
Guess again. http://www.economist.com/news/middle...ashar-al-assad

Just more evidence that Trumps previous sayings never offer more than the slightest clues to what he will do.

And in this particular case that's a good thing.

That is something for little Mr. N. Korea to ponder.

He ain't a deep thinker, that's certain. I'm guessing someone on Fox & Friends agreed with Hillary, which triggered Trump's reaction.

Not really.

For the leading superpower, a steady hand that telegraphs a sane philosophy works better than a philosophy of

we have your back and will stay away from you, until we level an airfield. THEN you will know you pissed us off.

Trump just spent $69 MILLION to obliterate one airport. That is not the wisest of military decisions in the ongoing Syrian quagmire.

Is he responsible for the price of weapons?

I thought expensive is a characteristic of our weaponry.

The fact is Assad had to be answered.

And there is no way to obliterate an airport on the cheap using our weapons...probably using Chinese but they are famous for fake parts.

It's an open question how obliterated the airbase is, btw. Let's be careful of indulging in a vicarious thrill of 'Hulk Smash!' May not be the case.

Here's some footage. Not reliably comprehensive.

Yes, Trump is responsible for ordering the type of weapon and delivery system to be used. That is why he is Commander in Chief. Being CIC means being the boss.

We have a vast arsenal of all kinds of weaponry, from cheap to ridiculously expensive.

Assad had been handed a blank check by the Trump administration. This freedom allowed him carte blanche in Aleppo, and again here. Taking out a single airport when he has twenty more is not of significance.

There are multiple ways to obliterate an airport, including on the cheap. Drones with C4, loss of four or five control towers vaporized, electrical substation removals, cookie cutters across the runways, RPGs/ and/or drone missiles taking out the next sortie of jets taking off at three or four military airports are all cheaper, and send a little more of a "boots on the ground" message.
Don't leave your blinders on.
