Breaking News--Flynn offers testimony for immunity!

This is a WSJ scoup, but they have a paywall. Here's a NY Post bit on it: http://nypost.com/2017/03/30/mike-fl...munity-report/

There must be guilt, when one seeks immunity, no? This is more than a drip, and it's more than a shoe dropping. It's more of a, well...BOMBSHELL!

If this was Russia and Putin..........

He'd never get to testify! Trip and fall out a open window or get hit by a car on the street.

I'm a bit skeptical. It is possible that the only dirt he has in on himself, and he's seeking cover.

I had heard such speculation a few days ago. I bet der Trumpenfuhrer is sweating bullets. The countdown has begun. Here's the WashPost article on Flynn's flipping.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...3a3_story.html

Officials said the idea of immunity for Flynn — who is considered a central figure in the probes because of his contacts with the Russian ambassador to the United States — was a “non-starter,’’ particularly at such an early stage of the investigations. A wide-ranging grant of immunity could protect Flynn from potential future charges from the Justice Department, but Congress has the power to grant only limited “testimonial” immunity, which means prosecutors cannot use witnesses’ testimony against them in any prosecution. Ultimately, it is Justice’s decision whether to grant immunity from prosecution for any underlying conduct that is discussed, or other matters that don’t come up in testimony.

I think the Senate jumping into the act had something to do with it. His attorney has asked the FBI and House & Senate Intelligence committee's separately for limited immunity. Both bodies have denied this of course and the FBI with a no response as usual.

Since the Senate announced only yesterday that they are going to take the lead, fairly recent development and wonder if Trump's threat to the freedom caucus was a deflection from this.

Dunno, but we're gonna need a lot of popcorn to watch this mess unfold.

This guy is already roadkill, all he's good for now is to jump on a grenade for Team Trump. I hope he's left to twist in the wind.

The only way Flynn gets immunity is by offering significant evidence on someone higher up, and the only one higher up is Trump. This creates a logical basis to believe the report out now that Trump is considering all options, including resignation.
