Even a raisin can be a useful idiot for a good cause I guess.
If he votes against Chumpcare I won't be that upset.

What is a raisin?

The fact remains, which everyone is conveniently ignoring, out of all the industrialized nations we - supposedly the wealthiest - cannot provide all of our citizens with decent healthcare. Is it that we have a government staffed with incompetents or an electorate that cannot seem to elect sufficient intelligent members of Congress?

Before some gives me that best healthcare in the world crap pause and recall that I watched helplessly as the system failed my wife and let her die. The best healthcare she received was at my hands, the next best care was at the hospice where they sent her to die. As for the hospitals I would not send my worst enemy to Medstar Montgomery and I would give serious thought before I sent one of our cats to Howard County General Hospital. I failed her by not taking her to Canada.

David Brooks was spot on Meet The Press today. He basically said the Republicans are beating up on their own supporters and that in a declining capitalist framework economy like ours the state needs to provide health care for the free market to survive.

A raisin is just a raisin but Louie Gomert looks like the product of an unholy marriage between a Hazelnut and a Pecan.

No, that's simply Dem talking points and sloganeering coming out of you now. ACA was terminally flawed.

And that's why TrumpRyanCare maintained its basic architecture and features (while gutting its funding mechanism)? I don't judge Ryan's plan to be a serious effort, yet at least.

And that is a GOP talking point or alternative fact.

Not so long ago, President Trump vowed that “everybody” would be covered under the Republican replacement for the Affordable Care Act. On Sunday, Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price vowed that “nobody will be worse off financially” under the GOP’s American Health Care Act, an assertion so preposterous that it makes President Obama’s “You can keep your doctor” declaration seem trivial.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...doctor-moment/

And this came from a conservative. Moreover, Breitbart (Trump's Pravda) is wondering aloud whether Price's statement may be "The Lie of the Year."

We're in the post-truth era, don't you know? Lies don't matter.
