Where has Trump suggested any such thing?

I'm talking about Trump himself, not some lunatic fringe wacko that says he voted for Trump.

You are comparing this demogogue's reaction re immigration to Hitler's campaign against the Jews.

Trump has a legitimate complain and his solution set is not draconian.

Hitler is unique.

Hitler was unique in competence, that is true.
Could someone please explain exactly how immigration is such a massive overwhelming problem in displaced employment and dollars and cents lost to the economy from a credible source not linked to xenophobes.

This is/would be my question. I haven't found an a reliable answer on the effects of immigration and our economy, at least not nationally.

It is a massive problem to people who observe a massive flouting of existing laws and who feel that their elected representatives are playing them... essentially one set is seeking cheap labor and another seeking a huge potential voting block.

They see amnesty generating more amnesties.

The way I see it certain people benefit by taking advantage of cheap labor. These are mostly upper middle class and above.

Others get screwed because the abundance of cheap labor either puts them out of work, or lowers the prevailing wage for the jobs they can get. These are people at the middle and lower end of the economic ladder.

So I think it's not so much the net overall impact that's important as it is the fact that some people make out like bandits while others get fucked.

And it's generally the fuckees that voted for trump.

Actually there is quite a bit of impact in the lower paying jobs such as food service, landscape and non-union construction. And the owners of these businesses do make out like bandits, but they would also claim that they had no other choice.

By the way,
Quote:
President-elect Donald Trump has decided that he won’t seek criminal investigations related to former rival Hillary Clinton’s private email server or her family foundation, his campaign manager said Tuesday

Trump’s apparent decision, conveyed by Kellyanne Conway in an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,’’ is a change from his campaign rhetoric, in which he issued incendiary calls for a special prosecutor to reopen the FBI’s closed investigation of Clinton’s use of a private server while serving as secretary of state and had also urged investigations of allegations of corruption at the Clinton Foundation. He nicknamed the Democratic nominee “Crooked Hillary” and encouraged chants of “Lock her up!” at his rallies.

Thank god Trump saved us from that flood of 650 million immigrants. What a week that would have been!
