The only nerve it struck is how corrupt and ineffective the Democratic Party has become, thanks to Bernie.

Ahhh, the arrogance of the far left. Namecalling and zero introspection. Cute.

Outcomes matter not emotion.
Hillary flawed? Of course. So is the electorate. If people who supported Sanders were so dense as to not vote for Hillary on 8 November then whatever Trump does to them is their own fault.
I am proud to be a Hillarybot. That shine will fade from Sanders as Trump threatens our democracy.
|
The shine will wax stronger as Bernie fights Trump from the Senate. Hillary will go back to singing for her supper on Wall Street, only for a lot less cash.

Does it feel good having someone to blame for Hillary's failure? You and ice need to take a cold hard look at your candidate and yourselves.

I voted for Hillary in 2008 but also voted for Obama that year. I would have voted for Sanders if he would have won the nomination.
|
I voted for Bernie in the primaries and Hillary in the general so I played the game by your rules. A lot of people did and she lost just the same.

Bernie would also have lost to Trump, but he is not a Democrat, is he?
So why was Hillary the only Democrat to be nominated?
Arrogance and stupidity.

It was that sneaky goddamn soshulist who talked Hillary into using a private email server. It was a Bernie sock pupped who entrapped Weiner and caused the investigation to be reopened. It was Bernie, a fellow traveler if there ever was one, who talked the Russians into hacking the DNC.

Well, la di f**kin' da, Boreas. Wanna lollipop? Were you out there trying to convince Berners elsewhere that they should suck it up and do the same? It sure didn't look like it from here with all the bitching and moaning.

Yes, I was. This is the only political board I participate in and I have yet to observe anyone here willing to change their mind about anything. I stuck to people who were open to persuasion.
And even here, I defended Hillary from unreasonable criticism quite a lot. But since I failed to express the requisite level of abject adoration, you probably didn't notice.

The Dems have a messaging problem, tried to hard to be Republican lite not progressive. Thought they could pull in Republican voters that way. Guessed wrong again. Time for new ideas and young blood to infuse the party.

Right on.
Lots of adversities can be pointed to, enemy action from the FBI and such, but had Hillary not been such a vulnerable, high-negative candidate, they would not have mattered.
