I met John in 1980 at Fat Julian's upstairs at the Prado store about the time the 3-way tower was in development with Audax drivers, had LS-3/5A at the time and the early towers shamed them. He asked me to be a beta tester as an early commitment to purchase, made many changes and had to find a different driver set after Audax changed the line he was using. I'd brought a Dynaudio brochure back from Germany and handed it to him, he then went all-Scandinavian. I got the production versions later in exchange for my test mules.
FWIW, Anthony Cordesman was the other beta tester on the 3-way. Afaik, he still has them.

No suprize there, it doesn't take much research to find what sort of "businessman" he is.
His tax records would reveal his true worth and his charity activity, but he'd rather keep that secret as it would show what a fraud he is and has been.
