Baltimore County Police Fatally Shoot 23yo Woman

This part of the recent Justice Department report on Baltimore policing is probably pertinent to this case. They found a bad pattern of overuse of force and unnecessary escalation when the police were dealing with people with mental health issues.

I was in no way defending the Bal'more police John they have been out of control for some time. That said the young woman certainly contributed to her own death and the anonymous people on that social media did not help. Actually it really should be called anti-social media most of the time.

This might be one of the cases the report mentions. I remember this one. It occurred while I still lived in the area.

5-year-old Kodi Gaines clearly was hit on arm, despite police attempts to cloud this fact. But the real bombshell comes at the end. Kodi reports he was shot while running away. Doesn't sound like he caught a stray round intended for his mother. I think Kodi's probably right when he affirms he was shot on purpose.

What it distills to is that her behavior got her shot.
