The simple facts are that as it currently stands we have to select one of the two, ignore the Green and the Libertarian. I would suggest that Clinton is the best and logical choice but it is your problem not mine.

So Hillary is the best and most logical choice because she is a woman and you believe women make better presidents? And if I don't believe that, I am a misogynist?

Do you have an add-in for your browser, where you press F12 and get a strawman?

Sigh, not because she is a woman but because she is the best qualified of the two. All this crap about the Hair being a businessman, that makes him totally unqualified. CEOs are used to giving orders and expecting their employees to ask 'how high' on the way up. That is not how the presidency works, nowhere near how it works.
As far as women being better presidents, not necessarily but I do not believe as some here seem to that women cannot be good presidents.
Incidentally Daily KOS sent a list that pointed to another article in her defense that pointed out that it was an article by William Safire that pinned the label of Liar on her but with absolutely not a single shred of proof. In the article its author saw sexism rearing its ugly head.
Hell look back Bernie never seemed to get his voice below 110 decibels but not a single comment. If she raised her voice she was being shrill.
But like I wrote elect the Hair it is your problem not mine. You see Canada still considers me to be a citizen. When immigration sent them my passport they merely mailed it back to me. The Brits do the same thing. Of course it has expired by now but getting a new one is trivial. This homesite would likely bring in close to $850,000.00 and housing in the Canadian Maritimes is quite reasonable, I have been looking around. As the US $ is riding high my SSI would be $1.25 for every $1.00. I would not need the extra $360/mo health insurance supplement costs me. In fact it really sounds so good it might not matter who wins.''Florence did not want her body put in the ground and asked that I have it cremated and I did. So I could keep my promise to her and she will always be with me.
You see Raj I did not come here for the reasons many others do. It simply worked out that when I took early retirement and used my pension to support my ex, the word got out that I was available and the first offer came from Northern VA along with an H1B visa. That meant that we could be together faster so I jumped at it. I came here to be with my soulmate and for no other reason.

Rob, I sincerely hope you get the chance to take yourself and your beloved Florence back to the land that you love. It seems to me that would bring some peace into your life. I would hope that you would continue to post here on this and the AK forums.
All the best, my friend.

I use a tablet, so no function keys. Actually I use both so just kidding.
It's quite interesting how people rationalize their thoughts after their minds are made up.

If you are suggesting that is how I am doing it you are not listening, it may be setting a low bar as your signature says but what are the options?
You decried our primaries as being undemocratic but they are not. The Constitution covers only the federal elections, primaries are similar to the party meetings in Parliamentary systems where appointed delegates gather at a meeting of a party to elect the party leader. Delegates from another party or voters who choose no party are not welcome and rightly so.
Before I left Canada I was a paid up member of the Joe Clark Conservative party so I did get to elect delegates to the big party meeting. Although shortly after I was down here the party had wanted me to run fo office.

Rob, I am anything but a misogynist.
To sell Hillary as the ideal candidate (or even the best) is not to browbeat people into submission, but sell the idea. I have not seen an iota of this happen. And for everyone that claims Hillary to be an honest person, there are probably five that think otherwise. Why should I care why. I never thought she is qualified to be POTUS.
The reason Hillary is having a very difficult time putting space between her and Trump is mostly of her own making, the DNC and her handlers. No one twisted her arm to run so she owns the situation she is in. Criticizing people who choose not to support her for whatever reason is an extremely poor sales tactic. And the incessant dumping on Trump is even worse.
But the 1A is a bitch if it cannot be controlled, ask any politician.
And I take it as a personal insult when someone tells me to vote for Trump if I am not enamored by Hillary. Selling a concept or idea requires talent and tact which is missing from both sides.

The bottom line is the key here. You feel insulted. But while even bringing up misogyny may indeed be a bad sales tactic, some of what goes on here isn't sales, it's an honest exchange of views.
I make no analysis of any particular person, but I do think misogyny is very much in the air these days, and it's one of the things working to make Hillary's negatives as high as they are. If you deny it has anything to do with you, fine. Indeed, just about everyone will so deny, and most with complete sincerity. But yet here we are.
Get huffy about it if you wish, I guess. Then try to get over it. It's still not about you.

Bernie's been drawing crowds of like 300-400 for his pro-Clinton rallies.
Compare that to the 10,000 and 20,000 that he was drawing when he was running against her.
But keep dreaming Bob.
