"I think when he calls me 'brilliant,' I'll take the compliment." .... Trump

Lost in translation or even worse not even caring to find out. Apparently the word used is not for describing intelligence but bright, colorful. So was used as a put down!

"The word means someone who's bright, colorful. It means 'brilliant' if you're thinking about a bright light, but it's not 'brilliant'

You left Hillary off the list.

I think the one thing that the Tuesday night CIC Town Hall showed me above all else is the absolute deficit of talent and competence that we have at the top of both tickets. Hillary is, at best, a great policy wonk with a massive character deficit. Trump is a wild card - emphasis on wild - with potentially no better than a child's understanding of what he's getting himself into.

I was actually starting to think Libertarian this election. The "Aleppo thing" is probably a resume enhancement for the Libertarian crowd who generally like to pay scant attention to foreign affairs, but another fumble like that and I may actually start thinking Green party.

Trump attacks U.S. foreign policy, pol
itical press corps on state-owned Russian television network

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized U.S. foreign policy and the American political press corps Thursday during an interview on RT America, a state-owned Russian television network.

In a wide-ranging interview that aired Thursday evening, Trump spoke with journalist Larry King about the presidential race, American intervention in Iraq and the Middle East, and the potential intrusion by Russian hackers into Democratic Party databases. RT, which airs in several countries in English and Russian, is funded by the Russian government; though it characterizes itself as independent, the network has been regularly accused of pro-Kremlin bias.

Nice Trump interview on RT by Larry King, a real patriot this clown. I bet McCain is going to back him now.

Carl

oh, this is good stuff...
Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn — one of Trump's closest advisers — received payment to deliver a speech at an RT party last year, where he sat next to Putin. In an interview with The Washington Post last month, he said that he saw no distinction between RT and news outlets like CNN or MSNBC.

“Well, I think the dishonesty of the media. The media has been unbelievably dishonest,” Trump responded. “I mean they’ll take a statement that you make which is perfect and they’ll cut it up and chop it up and shorten it or lengthen it or do something with it.”

“And all of a sudden it doesn’t look as good as it did when you actually said it. But there’s tremendous dishonesty with the media. Not all of it, obviously, but tremendous dishonesty,” he said." RT

An interview conducted by no less a figure than Larry King.

Good evaluation. You know you can live with a policy wonk you don't like, you've been doing it for eight years.

A wild card of course is liable to do anything. Not a conservative choice.

I do know that Trump is too old not to take VP's into consideration. Plus, he has to be hiding something good not to release where he is hiding his billions. hmm, kinda like Vlad and his billions.....
