Changes in the Earth's Rotation are in the Wind (http://www.nasa.gov/centers/goddard/...0rotation.html)

In addition, Earth's rotation is slowing slightly with time ... (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth%27s_rotation)

The climate-related slowing of the earth's rotation is said to be increasing the length of a day by a 'fraction of a millesecond.' Good find-hadn't known of this relationship.

It's long been known that earth's rotation is slowing over time due to the gravitational drag of the sun.

Actually, nailer's first source states that changes in atmospheric movement and density can have a tiny effect on the Earth's rotation, due to conservation of angular momentum. Might amount to the day shortening by a minute in a billion years. I suspect the effect of the Sun's gravity is greater.

While Trump cavorts for the media, Sec. Clinton has a plan to rein in rapacious prescription drug pricing.

"Hillary Clinton added to her pledges to rein in drug prices on Friday, saying that if elected to the White House she would create an oversight panel to protect U.S. consumers from price hikes on life-saving drugs and import alternative treatments if necessary.

Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, will seek to give the panel an "aggressive new set of enforcement tools," including the ability to levy fines and impose penalties on manufacturers when there has been an "unjustified, outlier price increase" on a long-available drug, her campaign said.

"Over the past year, we've seen far too many examples of drug companies raising prices excessively for long-standing, life-saving treatments with little or no new innovation or R&D," Clinton said in a statement." Reuters

Heaven forbid the likely next president should look out for kids and sick folk...

See CHIP and Hillary's long, long history of fighting for kids and healthcare reform.
