Clinton signed a promise to the effect that "For the duration of my appointment as Secretary, if I am confirmed, I will not participate personally and substantially in any particular matter involving specific parties in which the William J. So, Bob, do you think it's time for you cut the "Big woos" and "Sighs" and "Weak sauces" and address the fundamental dishonesty of your candidate?

The contents of these two emails don't contradict her promise. Having your aides lobby for somebody else to get a job is a normal thing, as is setting up meetings with people. I did both dozens of times as a Federal executive, as did everybody else I knew. It's part of the job description.

Did you ever sign a promise not to do it? Were the people you assisted donors to your foundation? Were any of these people convicted criminals?
