Guess who was at fault for the ruined bird......

"Look at it! You fucked it up, Dave! I told you to watch the heat, you dickhead!"

Relatives. Sometimes it's VERY hard to love them.
so many stories when you have lived so many years....

Poor ed. But if she were to apologize, you'd lose a perfectly good grievance and no apology is worth that much.

pay attention johnny

I always throw out olive branches and never hold a grudge.... perfectly willing to change demeanor at the drop of a hat.

I have no grievances, just a lot of frustration because the tone here is so needlessly hostile and radical.

what do you care what a trog thinks anyway....

a fine slur you used in the far left all embracing spirit...

Olive branches and no grudges held.... Perhaps.

But unable to admit when you are wrong.

I owe you no apology. Never did.

As I note all the white females living comfortably on their (sometimes multiple) dead husband's gains.

White female privilege certainly has one up on white male privilege. At least when you stay home and live on your husband's income you aren't though of as a slacker and deadbeat.

Congrats on the deli ownership. I've had a couple of female bosses during my time and they were by far nicer to work for than the men, who tended to be egotistical and controlling, constantly threatened by superior work.
You are talking about a small subset of white females. I live in what would probably be described as a upper middle class community - and county. The vast majority of families I know have two spouses working, although more and more of the people I know are entering retirement age. Even then, they enter retirement with both spouses having contributed to the retirement income. The numbers of people experiencing the privilege you describe is dwarfed by the numbers of families in which both spouses must work to keep their heads above water, or in which the only parent has to try to make ends meet - whether male or female.

The only time in our lives that my wife did not work full time was when we had small children, and most of that time she worked part time. She would work evenings or weekends so that one of us was usually with the kids. Even when my wife would want to defer to me for decisions, I would insist that we are a partnership and try to find consensus. My kids (adult sons) point to my wife just as much as they point to me when they describe the source of their values and work ethic.

Regards,

D-Ray

I'm thinking about making this into a parody song for you.

I'll call it "Walking on Eggshells"
