For a long time Trump has been hammering NATO and other such groups for not helping themselves. He pointed out that only
five out of the 28 NATO countries meet the required 2% GDP requirement.
That as to Europe Germany, France and England should lead and give US a rest.
He also mentioned Japan and Korea in their area and about the burden of bases.
The US should not be naive. A number of countries are calling for US troops/bases to supplement their economy.
