Bernie Sanders Supporters Disrupt The Democratic Convention

Give em Hell Bro's and Broettes!

I hope they make the '68 convention look like a walk in the park.

Thousands of backers of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) took to the streets Sunday in advance of the Democratic convention, kicking off a week of planned protests.

“I felt he worked so hard for the 99 percent, I could do my little bit and come to the convention to [get out] two messages: to still support him and also protest the Democratic National Committee,” said Paula Iaesella, a woman from southern New Hampshire carrying a “Still Bernie” sign.

Paula Iaesella, of southern New Hampshire, said she was considering leaving the Democratic Party.

Sanders backers endured intense sun and temperatures in the high 90s to march through the center of Philadelphia Sunday afternoon. Many of them had just marched for clean energy earlier in the day.

The only person less popular than Hillary Clinton at the rally was Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), who had just stepped down as convention chair after leaked emails came out suggesting DNC staff favored Clinton over Sanders. For Sanders supporters, the emails proved what they had believed all along ― that despite public pronouncements of neutrality, the Democratic establishment was helping Clinton.

You really should go to the convention TJ. Take in the sights, bro. It's the city of brotherly luv, man. Have a Philly cheese steak and find a hot mountain mama neo-hippie chick to share your tent.

If you do, give my regards to the Philly PD.

Tell your "bros and bro-ettes" they haven't lived until they've had a good lungful of teargas, man. It's a rush not soon to be forgotten.

Howabout you stop posting up inane ideas about the convention, Tom?

The '68 Democratic convention shenanigans were hands down the single best gift the Left gave to Dick Nixon and the Republicans.

Naw, just wrap a wet towel around your head. My crazy assed brother in law was heaving tear gas canisters back at the DC police back in '71 at the Washington Monument during the May Day demonstrations. Then we got our stupid asses chased around the monument grounds by the Park Police on horseback until we hid in the public restrooms.
