I don't really think Trump or Bernie wanted to be president. They both got caught up in their own movements. Trump now wants to win the presidency to be sure, but doesn't want to be president. Kind of a dog catches a car thing.

I'm sure that the Clinton campaign vues this in exactly the same way. Of course, once the election is over, platforms go into the trash so Hillary won't ever have to follow through on any of the concessions she made to Bernie.

The most progressive party platform in the Democratic party's history and a solidly progressive VP pick not to mention Hillary's solid progressive credentials aren't enough for the far left. There's no pleasing some people.
