Why? And do you earn to possess Monty Python or were you talking about snakes?

True that.
I'm pro life in the general sense as most everyone is, and uncomfortable with abortion, yet pro choice.

I don't think it is so hard to get people's true feelings on abortion , generally speaking. People tend to feel strongly one way or the other about it and most are willing to express those feelings.

I also don't see it as a queasy subject, but maybe that's just me. I've had a lot of exposure to medical procedures and, in general, am not bothered by them if there are trusted doctors involved.

Anecdotally I find abortion a hushed subject. I find that is often surrounded with a sense of guilt which lingers.

It's a readily discernible contradiction to be pro life and pro choice.

Abortion is the taking of a human life.

How can pro choice = anti capital punishment?

Quite easy. If you are for a woman's right for choice, you can also be for a society's right to establish capital punishment. These are not exclusionary if they are not faith based.

Only if one believes that one is born when one is conceived.

Actually, I don't think there's much argument that one is born when one is born. The issue is when is one a human life? If one is not a human life when one is conceived, why would you refer to it as "when one is conceived"?
Sure sounds like recognition that it's an individual that's being conceived, and what kind of individual would you be referring to? Seems like you're referring to a human.
