It appears that Hillary Clinton's lawyers had top secret clearance after all.

"In a new letter to Grassley, Kendall says he got a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance from the Justice Department in November 2013 and a Top Secret clearance from the State Department about a year later. Kendall says his Williams & Connolly law partner, Katherine Turner, also got a Top Secret clearance from State in December 2014."

“These State Department security clearances remain active. We obtained them in order to be able to review documents at the Department of State, to assist former Secretary Clinton in preparing to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi,” Kendall wrote on Monday." Politico

That's two out of the estimated (Comey) ten people that got to look at all of the emails on the unauthorized Clinton email server.

Bob, how about Hillary claim that she was authorized to use her own server?

Shrug. Unlike most I don't see the big deal since the government servers were hacked repeatedly and hers apparently weren't, despite Comey's conjecture yesterday.

Off topic, how's the battle going with the bureaucracy over your visa?

Normally, I think Krauthammer is a self-righteous NeoCon dickhead, but I think his take on Comey's decision is spot-on.

Bob, hope you are sitting down. Instead of the Indian Consulates granting the visa's directly, it is now outsourced to a private company. Imagine that, India outsourcing! These 'agents' have developed an online application process which is a joke and a disaster. And one must fill the form online, then print and sign then mail or drop off (which I prefer).

After two attempts and two visits to their office in SF, I am still short of a three forms and one document. After all is said and done, this will cost me in excess of $600 not to mention my time and expenses. Parking alone cost me $24 for 90 minutes at $4/15 minutes yesterday. This entire exercise is set up to gouge people and nothing else.

Wish I had gone through an agent and avoided all this run around.
