Go ahead believe there was evil intentions. Easy to do when that is what is wanted to believe in the first place. Now Lynch is seeing it was naive to think the meeting would be seen as innocent by the haters of the Left.

If a use of influence was the intention surrogates would of been used. This investigation is to public for a mistake like you are suggesting to happen. This was an innocent meeting.

The GOP and Right have zero to use against HRC so are going Bat $hit crazy thinking up conspiracies.

Just as it's easy to believe that nothing untoward was discussed if that's what you wanted to believe all along. It works both ways.

The fact that the meeting occurred in the first place plays into the whole "Crooked Hillary" meme that Trump is pushing which in turn gains traction from the fact that, rightly or wrongly, most people don't trust her.

So, the meeting was a huge mistake. Bill should have known better and so should Lynch. It will have the inevitable result of casting a pall of suspicion over the investigation of Servergate, should Hillary be cleared of any wrongdoing.

I would venture to guess that Bill Clinton was getting or trying to get a preview of how the wind was blowing within JD. Just to say hello sounds lame.

Yep. 'Clinton rules' of which the MSM plays a gleeful part in the hunting of the Clintons. Someone should write a book...Oh, wait, they have already.
'The Hunting of the President: The Ten Year Campaign to Destroy Bill and Hillary Clinton'

Meanwhile the Bernie or Buster's gleefully repeat every fake scandal dreamt up by the likes of Mellon-Scaife as if it were news.

You would think if one was inclined believe the newest ""Trumped"" up conspiracy, about the evil Left. Then why not a mole in Justice? To leak info to the campaign?

What's next, Bill was there for quickie!

That line of reasoning only works if you willfully ignore AG Lynch's sterling reputation, John.

I'd say more people know of Bill and Hillary's tenuous relationship with the truth than know of the AG's reputation.

(Shrug) They're politicians after all, unlike this AG. She's no John Mitchell.

Well, it used to be. One visit from a Clinton and now she's trying to figure out how to get the stink off herself.
