I thought you were being rhetorical. Everyone here would say yes to that. Frankly, I think you're setting the bar pretty fucking low, even for whell.
Anyway he was just trying to point out that "lefties" were no better than people like him. See, anyone who took it into his head to kill Trump would have to be a politically-motivated "lefty", just all the gay Americans buying guns are "lefties" and not just scared shitless human beings.

I'd like to be noble and give the ideal answer, but there are folks the world would be better without. I've given a couple examples in my previous response. Equating an internet radical Jihadi recruiter to a same sex couple for an ethical equivalency for instance doesn't cut it in reality.
