Yeah but this is 2016 not 1940. FDR was hardly perfect. Remember the Democratic Party of FDR was dominated by Southern states and Jim Crow.

You don't remember the 60's and LBJ, when the Democrats actually got some progressive legislation enacted? Medicare, Civil Rights stuff, Environmental Protection, etc. Christ, even the Republicans under Nixon were more progressive than Hillary.
