Not on the NAA, particularly in the "safety" notch between chambers. This killed the son of one person I know when he dropped his pants on the floor. There are probably others and numerous near misses.
They sorely need a safe holster, NAA should make it available. I cannot recommend them without.

Bullshit. Even with the horrific loss of life following a cover, conceal, and make-him-come-to-me strategy without a weapon offered a minimum 83% survive ratio. (50/300 = .166) Making those odds lower is what an "idiot would do."

And I assure you, the guy knows you're there unless you follow precisely the strategy I've laid forth.

I know enough to understand what someone trained in close quarters combat means when they put the word rest in parenthesis. NOTE: we're not discussing a horizontal surface which is the last thing anyone with knowledge would do because you immediately curtail vertical aim against the potential of multiple targets.

As I said before, there's nowhere to "rest" in that room. You're going to miss, you're going to make it worse.

More bullets flying from John Q.

Sigh... Are we done here? I tire of your ignorance.

It's amusing to this old hippie how many RW visitors to this little corner web assume that the longtime members don't know squat about firearms. By my informal count 80% are former military and one is a former career LEO.

I'm going to Tennessee to visit my Green Beret son next month.

When I do I will get his take on the Orlando shooting.

Then I will come back here and set myself up as the all knowing expert.

Tom would you please ask him this, if he was at the Pulse and armed with a concealed hand gun, what would he have done.

Serious: I'd be very interested to hear his take.

I intend to do that.

I know he's had some pretty intensive hostage rescue training, but they do that as a team.

Yeah, I was a REMF Air Farce Medic in Da Nang.

AKA "Bedpan Commando".

We occasionally got incoming 122 mm rockets.

On the night of July 5th, 1971 we got a whole shitload of incoming.

One of those fuckers landed 70 meters from me.

It sounded like it went off inside my head.

I hugged the floor like a sissy through the whole thing.

I found some stuff about it on the net.

These pics bring back memories.
