Now let's try solving the equation a different way:

islamic terrorist + gun = dead people

If we remove the gun, we are left with the islamic terrorist. This doesn't seem like as tidy of a solution, as the islamic terrorist wants to have problems for us to solve, so he will replace the gun with another variable- bomb or machete or airplane full of people. Anything he puts in that "gun" position and the equation gives the same result, dead people.

There is a fundamental error in the equations you have postulated/formulated known as not enough variables, unless it's a dumbed down Trump version.
