Nope. Have you looked at that assortment of lunatics. Kristol's candidate will be a mainstream conservative with national name recognition, someone like Jeb, his old PNAC butt buddy!

Who'd you vote for for the Senate?

Don't forget the stamp.

Sanchez...she got rid of that moron with the red hair so I owe her one.

I was not even living in CA and knew about Dornan because I used to watch Crossfire a lot in the late 80s.

Stealing a John Kerry line,

Help on the Way? Bill Kristol Hints at “Impressive” Independent Candidate

Quote:
Hope springs eternal.

Weekly Standard editor, Bill Kristol, has been on a quest for weeks to secure a willing and capable third party option to the two felonious cons running at the head of the Republican and Democrat tickets.

No. Please don’t mention the Libertarian Party. With their choice of Gary Johnson (again), they will soon be relegated back to their 2am party meetings in the corner booth at the Waffle House.

I think it may be Kasich, he's been awfully quiet.

I don't think any "independent" GOP candidate would do any damage other than help Hillary a bit in the general; plus it is getting late and deadlines to get on state ballots are looming. Having a Kasich on the ballot would be the same as having Gary Johnson or those other kooky candidates you always see on the ballot when you vote. I imagine Romney could suck some votes from Trump but that would just help the Democrats.

Romney won a majority of the white vote, the male vote, and the vote of those over 45. So his strength was among old white men. Trump already owns that demo.
