Quite a ringing endorsement.
Excerpt made me laugh out loud.

Of course, I don't understand why Trump is considered in the same category as Palin by many.

Very interesting stuff.
Some of us have been pointing this to you, but it's been futile. They both fell off the same tree but Palin landed on her head.

Birds of a feather ...

Just look at the people who have come out for Trump - Palin, Sessions, Brewer, Christie, Mike Tyson. A cavalcade of clowns.

None of the Bankers Think Hillary Clinton Believes Her Populism

Of course the Wall Street bankers are not worried about Hillary. I strongly suspect that it would be obvious why if she were to release the transcripts of those speeches she gave.

http://www.truth-out.org/opinion/ite...urnalist-wrote

Quote:
Barack Obama's mild rebukes caused Wall Street to explode in fury and self-pity back in 2009 and 2010; the financiers pouted and cried and picked up their campaign donations and went home. But Hillary's comments provoke no such reaction. Only a few days before she launched her campaign, for example, John Mack, the former CEO of Morgan Stanley, was asked by a host on the Fox Business channel whether her populist talk was causing him to reconsider his support for her. On the contrary: "To me, it's all politics," he responded. "It's trying to get elected, to get the nomination."

"None of them think she really means her populism," wrote a prominent business journalist in 2014 about the bankers and Hillary. The Clinton Foundation has actually held meetings at the headquarters of Goldman Sachs, he points out. He quotes another Morgan Stanley officer, who believes that "like her husband, [Hillary] will govern from the center, and work to get things done, and be capable of garnering support across different groups, including working with Republicans."

Populism is ok, but there is a trend in American history where it sometimes co-joined with prejudice and xenophobia. Trump is another example of that. So when you talk about Populism Joad I also am reminded you support a man who is a race-baiter.

As to what the banker said :

I'll take that in a heartbeat over Trump.

I'm a Bernie Bro Ice.

I've donated $500 to his campaign and I voted for him in the primary.

I haven't given a cent to Trump, nor do I plan to.

Your problem is you can't defend your candidate against Bernie, so you default to playing the "She's better than Trump" card because it's the only one you have.

Well, here's how I see it. Bernie has opened my eyes to what a real Democrat is supposed to stand for. He has exposed Hillary for what she really is. A closet Republican running as a Democrat. She's as phony as a three dollar bill.

As for Hillary vs. Trump, If you have two enemy soldiers, one wearing the uniform of the enemy (Trump) and one wearing the uniform of your country's army (Hillary), which one is the most dangerous?

Well, that plus insulting and ridiculing people with other views.

But one does get enjoy the hollow comeback victories against a one legged competitor. It's a shame when one can attack the person that you are not voting for rather defend the one that you intend to.
