Right. And Hillary has such an awesome track record.

Myth #2 – Hillary knows how to get things done

This is one of her favorite lines and it gets picked up by her many surrogates in the press. The fact is, it doesn’t bear scrutiny. For example, she only sponsored 3 Bills that became law during her 8 year tenure. One established an historic site in New York, another renamed a Post Office, and the third named a portion of a highway in New York after Timothy J. Russert.

Just so much noise with no specifics at all except for the "no shoes" nonsense, which is the only one the writer could debunk, and if you don't think elections are being rigged, votes being suppressed and voters being purged I've got a bridge I'm trying to sell.

Absolutely.

I agree with Potter.

Everyone should get one vote to use as they see fit.

Even the regressive state of Alabama has an open Primary.

When I went to vote I got to pick which ballot I wanted.

However the Republicans here are making noises about going to a closed Primary, "to keep Democrats from messing in our elections".

So your way of thinking is the same as an Alabama Republican.

How does that feel?

With regard to closed primaries, I don't find the "Those are the rules quit whining" argument very persuasive. Try again when we (liberals) are not forced to vote for the chosen candidate of only one party, with no viable alternative in sight.

There's palpable paranoia among establishment voters on both sides, huh Tom?

It's them Goddamned voters!

They're not playing by the rules!

They are supposed to vote for the candidates that are on the "approved" list.

While I admire states that have open primaries, I see nothing wrong with having them closed. If you like a candidate from another party, change parties. I do believe that if you are going to have a closed primary that changing party affiliation should be allowed for up to a month before the election though. I think too much can happen in 6 months for the door to be closed that early.
