And I believe as you do, that Cruz knew about the ad and welcomed it.

The right thing to do would have been for him to immediately condemn the ad, get on the phone to that Super Pac and tell them he wanted it taken down immediately, and then get on the phone to Trump and apologize to both him and his wife. But he did none of that as far as I know.
You don't know Ted Cruz by now?

Everyone knows Ted Cruz, especially his fellow Republicans. Yet they recruited him for their Dump Trump Movement spearheaded by Romney and there would be hell to pay, GOP is being very short sighted. A pact with Cruz is a pact with the Devil.

They are both beyond despicable and they richly deserve each other and the party that spawned them.

Herr D'Rumpf's hostile takeover of the GOP continues apace. At this rate even Republican women will be voting for Hillary Clinton.

It's awesome watching the two most loathsome figures in American politics for the past half century destroy the GOP. Watching Trump and Cruz is like watching two rabid dogs fight over the roadkill that is today's GOP while an 18-wheeler is barreling down on them.

I just wish that I could be 100% confident in this outcome. Even a slight possibility of a Trump or a Cruz presidency induces nausea.

That's my problem too. Except strike 'nausea,' insert 'fear and loathing.'
