I gotta tell you, pumpkin, maybe because I am from NY but I don't know one toothless white trash hillbilly that supports Trump. I do know several lawyers and people who live in very nice homes, shall we say, that do.

Point is, you and many others here are nuts thinking that he is the candidate of the dolt.

His appeal is far greater than birther retards. The GOP believed the same thing, now they got a problem.
He's not the candidate of dolts, he's the candidate of authoritarian personality types. You can read up on them, or just think bullies, and the guys who tag along with them.

Thanks John, interesting read.

It makes me wonder why I am not anti Trump.

I sure as hell am no authoritarian according to the questions the writer uses in his poll to identify them.

We're all sorta wondering that.

It's not because of the wall, I don't even consider the immigration problem much of an issue. Certainly not central to a national campaign. I am not a racist, my youngest is mixed. I don't like anti Trump posters taking cheap shots from his supporters at his rallies. I don't identify with the toothless. I don't like that he has not yet established and advisory team... seems he is starting to though. I don't like that he seems no more well versed on the substance of issues... he has not studied the issues as it has become clear he very well could be president..

I do like that he thinks in macro. I do like, very much, that he will not be owned by the banks, the lawyers, the teachers, big pharma anything if elected. I like how confident he is, how sincere he is and how mature and achieving his family is. (I know you are gonna say some of this is not true but it is if you look where I look)
and I absolutely love how he makes fools out of the people and process of politics. I mean I love it. I just roar with laughing approval. He is very similar to me in all honesty.
Not in intellectual curiosity but in the rejection of norms and creating cartoon imagery though spoken word.

Then knowing enough to repeat the words that create the image often enough so that it sticks in the mind of those that hear it. Like little marco or lying ted. Low energy jeb . BTW, all first names. He is always Trump. These subtleties are very effective. Everyone one of us, weather we like the idea of the wall or not, have a mental picture in our minds of what it would look like.

Yeah, I like how effective his cartoon persona is, it's as if I am living vicariously through him in this regard as I tend to do the same.

It's because you're a NYer having fun.

You've already pretty much said when push comes to shove you'd go Hillary.

Being from Baltimore, I haven't liked him from the start. Not only is he a NYC rich guy asshole (SPY magazine pretty much showed this back in the day), he's also CRUD (a crude rude dude).

Let me offer this as a considered criticism of Trump. His insistence on self-aggrandizement at every turn makes me think that he is incapable of conducting an objective evaluation of facts. He claims to have written the second best book behind only the Bible. He continually brags that he is very very rich and very smart. His self evaluation is so high that he expects people to "trust him" that he will solve serious and complex issues. If he is incapable of objectively evaluating himself, how accurately will he evaluate the motives and intentions of foreign allies or adversaries?

Regards,

D-Ray
