I apologize with my lack of patience on this but it is frustrating to me how people just accept past practice as best without ever questioning. How people accept titles for knowledge or correctness on a subject...

I am addressing the issue of a person who wants to stop drinking when they haven't had a drink, but will find it impossible to regulate their drinking if they start. If you aren't talking about people like this, you are not talking about actual alcohol-dependent persons, I wouldn't say.

There are of course individual exceptions to everything, but the gutters are full of exceptional persons.

The fellow in my video is not full of shit because he has a Dr. in front of his name, and he relates real experience.

Except for cases of alcohol poisoning, it's much less of a problem with alcohol than with nartoctics but in neither case is anyone advocating unsupervised "cold turkey". There are hospital protocols for both alcohol detox and narcotic withdrawal. Surprisingly, they work just fine even though they're performed by traditionally trained medical personnel.

Getting back on to the topic of Trump, the battle between Trump and Kelly continues.

"Everybody should boycott the @megynkelly show. Never worth watching. Always a hit on Trump! She is sick, & the most overrated person on tv," Trump tweeted on Friday.

Fox response:

Fox News responded by saying: "As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it’s especially deplorable for (Kelly)to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job.”

Just in time for the next primary and I believe that this is an orchestrated move by Trump for some free air time.
