And it's getting both worse and more dependent on income. It has always been true that richer people live longer but the disparity in life expectancy between the upper 50% and lower 50% in the US has risen from a little over 1% in the 1970s to just under 6% in 2001 and to 14% currently.

You know, I always figured it would be like this when that day finally came. Actually, I figured some asshole would shoot him.
