I can't help it.
I'm starting to really like Trump.

Donald Trump on Sunday ramped up his attacks on fellow GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz on Sunday, calling the Texas senator "a nasty guy" and a "hypocrite."
"Look, the truth is, he's a nasty guy," Trump said on ABC's "This Week." "Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him. He's a very –- he's got an edge that's not good. You can't make deals with people like that and it's not a good thing. It's not a good thing for the country. Very nasty guy."

Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump repeatedly blasted Glenn Beck on Saturday after the prominent conservative radio host accused him of voting for President Barack Obama in 2008.
"This really dopey guy ... this dopey guy, Glenn Beck, he looks like hell. No, he's like a dope. And I've watched him cry on television all the time. He's doing very badly. His thing is falling apart. His company is falling apart," Trump said at a campaign event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

You two need to check your Health Insurance policies to see if they will cover getting those ramrods removed from your asses.

I certainly am glad I have you around to tell me what I need. I'd be lost without you.

Calling Cruz a disagreeable prick is hardly an ad hominem attack. I suspect at least 95 senators agree with that assessment.

Of course, it's an ad hominem attack. The fact that it may be true doesn't change that fact.
Quote:

adverb & adjective
adverb: ad hominem; adjective: ad hominem
1. (of an argument or reaction) directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining.
"vicious ad hominem attacks"
2. relating to or associated with a particular person.
"the office was created ad hominem for Fenton"

Trump tied it to his likely Cruz's inability to play nicely with others (i. e. , get anything done with a Congress that hates him).

Makes no difference, regardless of any inference you might draw from his attack.
