Flint Michigan: 57% black, 42% poverty rate.

The same old story.

This morning I took a drive that went through one of the poorer sections of Mobile. The area is called Maysville. It's mostly black and very poor. What you notice right away is the condition of the city streets. The pavement is full of cracks and potholes and the drainage sucks. We had rain last night and there were many areas with standing water. Your vehicle really takes a beating driving through there. You don't see shit like that in the white areas. It's obvious how the maintenance bucks are allocated here.
